i totally just got my dad into electric wizard. what the fuck.
My dad turned 70 yesterday and for his gift I collected pictures of friends from many times in our lives holding signs that say “Happy Birthday Jeepie”. So many people contributed and it turned out soooooo nice!!!! A lot of our old daycare kids, who are teens and adults now, sent pics. And there is one from my Aunt Rita who is our oldest living relative. Musician friends. Childhood friends. The whole thing is kind of a tear jerker.
My dad is so loved. It’s awesome.
This is what my personal level of emotional intimacy will allow for.
